Fandom Flags - Young Adults Set

Since it's pretty common to display one's nationality and/or sexuality on social media bios via flag emojis, I thought it would be cool to show what fandoms you're part of using the same method - thus the concept of fandom flags was born!

Feel free to make flags for whatever fandoms that you're part of which aren't represented here - though I would appreciate it if you gave me credit for the idea!

This set is based around media that's either aimed at young adults or mostly appeals to them.

I don't even like Star Wars but the concept for the flag is one of the first ones that I came up with - the stripes in the middle represent the most common lightsaber colors while the black and white signifies the divide between the light side and the dark side.

The flag for Rick & Morty is pretty simple but the design is fittingly quite smart in my opinion - the blue on the left represents Rick, the yellow on the right represents Morty and green circle represents portal tech.

Futurama's flag is mostly modeled after the title cards but the curved green and red stripe is meant to represent the Planet Express ship.

The design for MHA's flag is the only ones that I really struggled with but I ultimately decided on a nine color striped flag with each color representing every holder of One For All with over half the flag being taken up by Deku's signature color since he's the protagonist.

Now I haven't gotten further than the tenth episode of Death Note's first season but I'm still quite proud of the flag I made for it - the colors laid out in a cross-like pattern symbolizes the anime’s complex moral spectrum while the apple is obviously meant to reference Shinigami loving apples.
